sustainable by design is a small business in Seattle owned by Christopher Gronbeck, a freelance consultant in the renewable energy and green building fields. Christopher has been working on sustainable energy and environment projects since 1991, at first for nonprofit organizations for seven years, and since 1998 as an independent consultant to nonprofits, municipal agencies, and progressive businesses.
