The tilt of the panels in degrees, measured from horizontal:

Use tilt = zero for horizontal panels and tilt = 90 for vertical panels.

Please note that panel tilt is measured from true horizontal, relative to flat ground and not relative to the tilt of the surface (such as a roof):
